When you wait long enough - you're rewarded.

Always wanted to add this issue to my set, but have been holding-out for a nice, crusty example.

Just won this beauty:

Way to go, Roman. A great looking coin. I wanted that one too, but I'll wait a bit longer. image

    Thanks, Bill!

I'm slowly trying to finish-up this set. Once I'm back in Toronto, I'll send this hook-neck, a nice MS cap'n'ray and the 1759 pillar of Fernando VI to PCGS, which should put me only 5 coins away from completing it.

    Lots of eye appeal! image

I believe LordM would call this "CirCam."

    Ooh, great lookin' 8R.

Too bad about the rim damage. I wonder what made those little rectangular divots every 90 degrees along the rim?

I read the title of this thread as, "When you wait long enough - you're retarded". image

You can tell that staying up all night on graveyard shift has taken its toll, and it might just be bedtime for me.

Seriously, tho', that does indeed have some CircCam attributes to it. CircCam plus gold toning is a nice combination. image

I hear you, Lord M. That "rim damage" is distracting. image

A beautful catch all the same.

Haha, Rob - that's funny image I've accidentally signed one of my e-mails "Retards, Roman" instead of "Regards, Roman" last year. Let's just say I had to explain myself afterwards...

By the way, when I've read "rim damage" - i freaked a little and without reading further I scrolled up and started to look for it image Thanks for giving me a scare, Rob! I'll make sure to fix that "rim damage" as soon as I'm back in Toronto!

Thanks for your comments, everyone. Can't wait till I get it.

Very nice coin and definitely worth the wait.

I thought you would cross over all to NGC for the edge-view holders. image

Very nice, I really like the look of the coin. It is well struck.

At some point, I will have to break down and get one of that type and design. Hopefully, when that time comes I can find one as nice.
