I have made the decision to sell most of my HIGH QUALITY Lincoln Cents in order to concentrate on the Gold Dollar Series. Purchasing an 1860 D gold dollar has officially put me past the "point of no return" so I might as well go all out in the series.
This 1914 D is PCGS MS64RD. It is an exceptional coin with full vibrant color and a very few minor spots on the coin. The reverse is well struck, somthing that not all 14Ds can boast, since the dies were overused. The detail on the portrait on the obverse is also very excellent, with sharp crisp letters and well defined hair detail. It is in every way a superb coin and will be the showpiece of any Registry Set. I need not tell this learned group about the relative rarity of the 14 D in regards to other keys of the lincoln series. It is a much much more difficult coin to find in high MS than any of the 1909s as very few of the 14Ds were saved from circulation, especially taking the low initial mintage in to account.
I feel that this coin would stand an excellent chance of an upgrade to 65. If you study the Heritage Auction Archives you will see that this coin is indeed PQ for the grade and no doubt would be a candidate for a little green bean.
This coin has been carefully stored since my purchase, in dessicants and inside an incept holder.
Price is $9200 I will consider partial or complete trade of RARE Gold Dollars, especially Charlotte and Dahlonega Mint Coins.
I have decided to sell several of my HIGH QUALITY Registry/Investment Grade Lincolns in order to devote my energies to collecting the GOLD DOLLAR Series. Purchasing an 1860 D Gold Dollar has officially put me 'past the point of no return' and I might as well commit to the series.
Many of you have HEARD of the Grade MS70RD but have Never Seen such a coin. That is because as of this date there are ONLY 40 MS70RD Lincoln Cents certified by PCGS. This number has remained stable since my purchase of this coin Two Years Ago. I feel that the grade designation has been permanantly shelved by PCGS so there may very well Never be any more MS70RDs 'made'. This coin was originally submitted by Tazmic Enterprises several years ago and has risen in value substantially over that time. Indeed, I have studied this coin under high magnification and cannot see one single defect on it. It is completely SPOT FREE and has remained that way under my ownership. I have carefully stored this coin in dessicants and in an Incept shield.
PCGS population on the 2006 SF at MS70 is Twenty Coins. total PCGS MS70 satin finish population is only forty coins, and this number has remained stable for several years.
Price, $2300
I have decided to sell several of my HIGH QUALITY Registry/Investment Grade Lincoln Cents in order to concentrate my collecting in the Gold Dollar series. Having purchased an 1860 D gold dollar has officially put me 'past the point of no return' and I might as well commit fully to the series.
This is YOUR opportunity to add a few excellent coins to your Registry.
Offered here is a STUNNING 1955 Doubled Die Lincoln Cent. As you know, all 55 doubled dies were pulled from the circulation stream, and very very few are found with high degrees of RED color. To find a coin such as this, with at least 60 percent full red remaining, together with a SHARP CRISP STRIKE is very difficult. You will note the degree of detail on the shirt and coat of lincoln, not all coins have this degree of strike. There are very few minor nicks on the coin, and it is without a doubt PQ for the grade of 64RB. I have kept this coin since its purchase in a dessicant storage and in an incept shield. It has not changed in tone during my ownership and I feel it is very stable. There are no distracting spots or irregular color areas which usually appear on RB lincolns. The EYE APPEAL of this coin is 100% PERFECT.
It would be an excellent addition to your Registry, and a coin that is destined to rise in value over time.
Price $5900 I will consider full or partial trades of RARE gold dollars, Charlotte and Dahlonega Mints
