    The senate still has to approve the bill. While they didn't get any reaction today, I'm sure when the gold sale is actually announced and some is actually sold, it might be good for tiny swing in the price of gold even if all the sales go to Central Banks. Like the gold sales of the 1970's, this will actually be a boost for gold longer term.

    Possibly for the same reason that the 2 guys found carrying billions in treasury notes seemed to miss the news as well.
