Nice little pop. Scans added.

Got my renewal freebies...

59 Mantle from RonBurgundy. The rest were raw from ebay, and picked up on the cheap, so very pleased. 62 Mays was 8-ish, might need a couple of resubs...

Pretty Mays Mike. If I was the grader I'd have given it an 8 based on the fact that it may have been one of the first I've seen with no PD/snow.

Was about to ask the same thing but you beat me to it. If that Reggie is a 6.5 than the Mays is at worst an 8.

Unless there's some surface issue with the Mays, that card is a stone cold 8. This is one of those cards where you may have to engage in grading grasturbation mulitple times to get it into the holder it deserves.

Thanks guys - I always expect a klunker or two when grading HOFers, never thought it would be the Mays though.

It was indeed $550. And I'm glad that Mike got 'er done! image

PS. I believe it was Nick who first said the card had a shot at a 7.5.

No more than Clemente though. Mays is a 7 without a doubt.

If I am not mistaken didnt Ron Burgundy get called out for selling "over graded vintage at inflated prices" by some dweeb in NJ? I have been following along these boards for a long time now, and he always seems to put up quality scans and fair prices. Selling a raw 59 Mantle that goes 7.5 is not " over grading" nor was the price "inflated." Ijustlovecards,Ron Burgundy,Bosox, etc.. all seem to have good cards at more than fair prices!!! Congrats Bosox on the Mantle!!!! Ron keep the vintage coming !!!!!
