Ebay/Paypal Question

This has probably been covered on here at some point, but a quick search did not yeild an answer to my question. Like most on here I have two (2) ebay accounts. Presently they each have their own bank account (two different banks) for Paypal.

Mife wife use to sell items on ebay and she had her own seperate bank account. She no longer sells and she wants to change banks.

Can I have two (2) ebay accounts and only one (1) bank account? or do I need to leave things the way I have them?

That is how I have mine set up.


So, yeah you can.

Or at least when I set mine up you could, I have no idea if they changed that policy.

I doubt they did though.

Both my ID's are linked to the same bank and Paypal account.

I've had my 2 eBay accounts with the same bank for many years. A couple of years ago I gave the second account to my wife and we set up a different bank account on it with no problem.

Well, I just tried to change it and I got this message:

That bank account is already assigned to another PayPal account. For security purposes, each bank account may only be assigned to one PayPal account. Please use a different bank account.

I am partly-stoopid today, and may not understand your goal.
.....

Each PP account can have 8 different EBAY IDs connected to it.

You might be best off by moving her EBAY ID to your PP account.

Once her EBAY ID is hooked-in to your PP account, you
should have the same results it looks like you are trying
to get.

Credits/Debits to/by her will go to her EBAY ID-email addy.
But, all money in/out will be in the one account that has
the checking account you want to use.

You can also add many checking accounts to a single account.
(Her ID may need to be associated with your PP account in order
for HER checking account to be added to your account.)


Accounts opened b4 1-1-07 should be able to have as many
banks connected as you wish. I have more than one ba hooked
to multiple accounts. (Premier and Business accounts only.)

The above is meant to serve if you want to BOTH use the same
bank account.


It seems the easiest solution is to open another online checking
account. Fund it instantly online, and then register the new account
with her current PP account.

(Again, I am not sure that I get what your goal is.)
