Pin Hole vs. Tear

I've got a 56 Topps Braves Team Card w/Date that has a pin hole at the very top of the card, so that there is a micrometer of paper between the hole and the top. I understand that pin holes are automatically PSA 1. Now if I tear that micrometer, so that there's no more hole, just a very small tear in the top of the card, does that grade out higher than a 1? A 2 or even a 3? Otherwise, the card is absolutely pristine. Someone tacked this card our of the pack 50 years ago and never touched it apparently.

Kiss me once, shame on you.
Kiss me twice.....let's party.

Since the card likely only has sentimental value, will the numerical grade truly matter?
I am actively buying MIKE SCHMIDT gem mint baseball cards. Also looking for any 19th century cabinets of Philadephia Nationals. Please PM with additional details.
