Arod- it don't hurt anymore

Late last night, I pulled off a great deal with a fellow card associate: I sold ALL OF MY AROD ROOKIES (GRADED AND UNGRADED) for essentially half of high beckett/smr. what a tremendous relief! I got not only my money back but then some. Whew!

Did you have a handful of low end rookies or hundreds of high grade SP, SP Holoview Red Die Cuts, Leaf Rookie, Score Call Up, etc. ?

    +1 for 'fellow card associate'

it was a large mix of cheapie rookies (including a dozen minor leaguers) and high end (sp, next generation, gold sign cc, electric diamond, white letters), UDs, sportsflics, flairs. graded and ungraded- half of the graded lot was BGS 9, the other half consisted of PSA 10 & BGS 9.5s.
I can't tell you how happy i am since i have been switching to vintage anyhow. I don't care what AROD does now...I feel free and lucky!
  • You would have made more selling on eBay. Looking at past eBay sales, recent sales prices have not been hurt too bad.

Now, if I could just get rid of my Jose Canseco and Wally Joyner rookies!

ebay is not the place for raw Arod rookies- perhaps on graded though....however, seeing the deal in one fell swoop was attractive and easy. Plus if he ever surges again- i can always get more... much like Doritos. LOL
