Have you ever held a coin out of a Registry Set just because

you didn't want anyone else know you had it. I am because the coin is not for sale period and that is how one of my last sets was dispersed, I need, I need.

No it is not a FS-025 Mikeimage

  • Nope. If someone wants something I have then I'll let them have it. I don't have anything super rare so I can always get another one.

I have never done that. Nobody ever bugs me to buy an item in my set. In fact, my experience has been people trying to sell me items that are not in my set.

No. I've never gotten any inquiries from collectors wanting to buy my coins. The inquiries I receive are always from persons trying to sell me coins.

I haven't. To me, every coin I own has a sell price. Offer me the right price and it's yours. image
  • So far, it hasn't been a problem. The one problem I have had with owning a coin and wanting to hang onto it was when I got nine coins certified by PCGS back in the mail on my way to a coin show. No less than four of them ended up getting traded away at the show, even though they weren't originally intended to be part of my trade stack. The money I got, however, helped me come home with a nice MS66 1883 Carson City Morgan.

I think the answer is yes, but then, I can't remember. Usually I just post the highest graded example if I have duplicates. The only reason for a duplicate to exist is that the lower graded coin is superior in some way to the more highly graded one.
