1869 Proof Seated Quarter NGC PR64 A nice, white coin with booming luster and flashy mirrors. An unusual amount of die polish is evident in the fields, particularly on the obverse. There are also some light hairlines, mainly in the obverse fields. A decent amount of cameo contrast on both sides, but not enough to warrant the designation. A small lint strike through to the right of Liberty on the obverse is noted. A nice example of the 600 minted. Housed in a new NGC EdgeView holder. Priced at $1350 shipped.
1870 Proof Seated Quarter PCGS PR63 1870 Proof Seated Quarter PCGS certified PR63. A striking example of the 1,000 minted. An interesting coin, when viewed straight on, there looks to be a purple haze, but when rotated in the light, a blue/green/yellow toning comes though. A neat piece with no major distractions or marks. No hairlines are visible under magnification, but there are two lint strike throughs noted in the obverse fields. Priced at $840 shipped.
1883 Proof Seated Quarter PCGS PR63 1883 Proof Seated Quarter PCGS certified PR63. An all white piece, with reflective mirrors. Some minor haze is apparent on both sides, but does not detract from the coin's appeal. Some minor ticks are apparent in the fields. Very strong cameo contrast, apparently not enough to warrant the designation from PCGS. A nice coin. Priced at $835 shipped.
