Advice needed. Is this worth getting my first negatve on ebay?

<< <i>hi, something came up and i cant afford card now.can you please,relist card?and do a bid cancellation.please respond.thanks, jenny >>

They won the card for$3.34 plus $3.00 shipping,. I can't believe they won't buck up for $6.34. I would love to hold them to it but for that amount I'm thinking I should probably let them walk and not take a chance on being neg'ed.

    Hi Don,

Personally, I'd let 'em walk. Not worth the aggravation or the time; and certainly not worth a Neg!

Move on, relist, and let the process get rid of 'em.

$6 is not worth the aggravation. Bless & release, then BBL.

I'd ask what came up that you cant afford $6 just out of sheer morbid curiosity.
IT IS ALWAYS CHEAPER TO NOT SELL ON EBAY
  • Thanks guys. I am going to let the buyer walk. Will I be able to relist the card without additional fees?

There is NO way to force a "buyer" to pay on EBAY.

    BBL them.

Your choice whether or not to file an NPB to get your FVF back.

    Relist item.

    Again ...

    1. As a seller, there is no way to force a buyer to send payment.
    2. As a buyer, there is no way to force a seller to mail a card.

Block the bidder and walk away.

On second thought, and believe me I have been pondering this almost since it was first posted is
YES it is worth getting a NEG over. This person entered into a contract when he/she hit the bid button.
What could be so damn important now in their life that they can't pony up the 6.00?

I say email them a nasty tirade, threaten them with a lawsuit (make the entered into a contract angle)
and tell them to complete with their obligation.

I'm fed up with people not honoring their word.

  • Ask them for a mutaul withdrawl. You get your fees back and they don't get a strike.I would go that route because they did let you know.

I would let it slide. I am surprised they even sent you an email to let you know that they weren't going to pay for it. Ask them to cover your fees and see what they say.
  • lol "something came up"

    I wanted Taco Bell

    Hubbys out of smokes

I found the same card $1 cheaper

Panhandling didn't pay out as expected

Tell them ok I'll hold it for you.

Just kidding. I've not been able to come up with $6 either. When I was 6.

This is why all Canadian bidders should be blocked.
