Rare look at really rare cards

The front and back of every player picture in the 1898-99 National Copper Plate Co. set that is being auctioned by Collect.Com Auctions have been posted to Nat'l Copper Pix.

I don't know how long they'll be available for viewing after the auction closes Thursday night, so this is a good opportunity to see some of the rarest 19th Century cards in the hobby. Some of these may well be unique.

    Bob:

Any particular reason you didn't disclose your relationship with the auction house in your post here?
I am actively buying MIKE SCHMIDT gem mint baseball cards. Also looking for any 19th century cabinets of Philadephia Nationals. Please PM with additional details.

I figured that the couple of dozen (couple of hundred?) messages on this forum in recent weeks castigating me for my career choices have amply alerted regular readers to my association with Collect.com Auctions.

    Don't be a hatter.

FWIW we had a thread regarding these cards last week.
