1991 Proline Boxes and signatures?

How difficult is a signature to pull out of these? Are they one per box or more difficult than that? I picked up a couple of cheap boxes of these, but do not know if they are worth opening. I have heard that many of the autos are short prints and did not even make it into the product. Any experience with these out there?

Not sure how Pro Line did it in 91 but in 94 Pro Line it is one per box, sometimes two.

<< <i>It was advertised as 1 autograph per 10 boxes. A couple of the key autographs are actually autopens - including Jack Kemp.

I agree Nick. The Kemp is definately an auto pen. Kinda sucks to pull an auto and not even be real. I'm not too worried about it though as I have at least 15 real auto's of Jack. Here's me favorite. This restaurant was owned by Glen Bass, his team mate and was about 2 miles from my house. I have been collecting Kemp pieces since 1990.
And here's sample of my Kemp, Lamonica collection.

<< <i>Thanks for the info guys. I had heard both 1 auto per 10 boxes and I have heard 1 auto per 3 boxes. I only ended up buying two boxes, so we will see if I am lucky. I notice very few of these base cards have been graded and they are part of the master sets, so maybe I can sub a few and get my money back. I doubt it though. >>
I have the only PSA 10 Jack Kemps from that set. I don't think they would be hard, but I doubt anyone subbed them. Since his death last month, that may change.
