Seeking Input From the Masses

Just bought a HP 5580 all in one printer/scanner and thought I'd subject the quality of the scanner to the masses by seeking opinions on the grade for this 1972 Topps #4. I would like to upgrade my 8 and I think that this card may help the cause. There is a just minor touch on the top right corner & the back is clean (centered as well as the front). Thanks in advance for any input.

IMO, the top right corner will keep it from being a 9.
  • Rainman says 8, yeah definitely an 8.

    I am afraid that I agree....maybe an 8.5?

EDITED to add that it is still a really nice looking card! How does this card compare to the 8 you have now?

My daughter was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes at the age of 2 (2003). My son was diagnosed with Type 1 when he was 17 on December 31, 2009. We were stunned that another child of ours had been diagnosed. Please, if you don't have a favorite charity, consider giving to the JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation)

That ding on the top right corner may even keep it out of an 8 holder.

It is too severe. Might bring it into a 7 Holder.

Could 8, be a low end one then.

Centering and color and other corners are sweet.

Assuming the upper right is a corner chip and not a corner crease, the card should be a straight PSA 8. Even if it is a corner crease, it is minute enough that in most cases, it should not hinder the card ending up in a NM-MT holder.

Given the left/right centering and the corner nick, I do not see any way the card should garner a PSA 9, however.
