The 1960s pennies may only come with the mint prooflike set? If that is case which should be- 1953 (1200) est, NSF/SF 1954 3000 NSF/SF (NSF rare) 1955 6300 1956 6500 1957 12000 1958 18000 1959 32000 1960 64000
Tacynepp is looking at the right data, WWW, so I think you have the best information you're likely to find on those mintages.
Even Charlton is somewhat vague on which dates may or may not have had pl strikings outside the PL sets.
When you compare those mintages with U.S. mint and proof strikings in the millions I's easy to see why quality examples-Pl 66 and up particularly-are so tough to find.
No,no- the kids and the cat are all right honey. It's just that I got my PCGS grades.
Thank you, tacynnep and canadacolornut. I assumed that the mintage figures for the cents were for the PL sets, but I was not certain. I am trying to put together a short set of these cents and I was curious about what the tough dates would be.
