Slightly OT: How many forum members have you met in person?

Phone conversations don't count.

I have met the only four in person. In order of meeting:
(1) avarel, at the MOON show in MN. Despite my weak attempts to remain anonymous, he figured out who I was shortly after the start of our 3d duel.
(2) farthing, at a later show.
(3) Civitas, who attends the MN shows regularly.
(4) kieferscoins, who I met at the last Denver Coin Expo in May 2009 (and lives in CO).

Unless I've missed some dealers who have posted here, that's it!

How about y'all?

None that I am aware of. It should be noted that I've only ever been in two coin shops and never to any shows.

I am planning on attending one of the Parsippany shows soon so that will change as quite a few members attend, and several set up dealer tables. I should be able to find at least one of them if nothing else!

I'm embarrassed to say that I don't remember all the names of some fellow darksiders I met at Baltimore a couple years ago...I have an absolutely terrible memory for names (even at work it takes me 6 months or so to remember). I do remember a few though image

Satootoko (Roy I met in Tokyo--went to a coin shop and had lunch)
Higashiyama (had lunch with Roy and me in Tokyo)
Askari (I had a trip down to Dallas one time and had dinner with him and his lovely family)
Julian (at Baltimore, I've seen him enough that when I show my face he'll tell me if he's got anything Japanese image)
    Civitas (Josh...Baltimore)
Danglen (Baltimore, at least I think it’s him at the Black Mountain Coins table…)
    Newsman (Baltimore)
    TooTawl (Baltimore, more than once)
    GMarguli (at NY)

A few primarily litesider dealers at Baltimore (like WayneHerndon and Poorguy), but I didn't say 'hey I know your handle at the CU forums... ' so I don't think that counts.

Oh, and the NEN guys too. I just don’t reveal my secret identity to them and I’ve gotten something at Baltimore and did an ebay pickup in NY with them.

I didn't say hello to, but recognized a couple other Litesiders at Baltimore--I almost plowed into KSteelheader once and I eavesdropped while Airplanenut checked out some coins.

And other than the ones I know I forgot names on, I'm sure I'm missing someone I should be remembering better...

Basically I'm not good at walking up to people I don't know that well and I suck at small talk. Anyone over here I would stop and say hi to, but not the litesiders. Well, Jeremey, now, but the time I saw him I didn't 'know' him as well. Even then I wouldn't be likely to say too much to anyone at first image.
