Where the hell do you get so many nice lots of vintage cards? It seems like you have an endless supply of high grade raw vintage, lol.

I wondered that also. Seems Ron always has a find or is talking about something he looked at but could not close with the seller. I believe he has mentioned before that he really pounds the pavement.

I could look in the Seattle area for the next 100 years and not find as many vintage raw as Ron finds in a month. I'm not sure there is a raw pre 1960 card in NM-MT in a card shop for sale in the entire state- I'm not kidding. I never find anything and believe me, I look. I do not find any vintage that are even NM. I can't even dream of a tobacco card. Football, baseball etc. Nothing.image

At least you have some shops to go to. If I want to go to a shop I have to drive to Atlanta or the surrounding suburbs which are an hour away. If I want gradeable vintage I either buy it on here or gamble on ebay. Most of the gambles have panned out pretty good because I bid an amount that allows for a couple of grades lower than the seller describes.

I am in Seattle too. about 2 years ago I picked up a nice vintage collection from craigslist. an attorney on Capital Hill was selling a collection his father had left him.
