Hypothetically--

which would you rather own?
1959 Bazooka Mantle Hand-cut PSA NM-MT 8
or
1952 Topps Mantle PSA EX-MT 6
Also, which would bring more at auction and by how much?
Thanks!

It appeals to a larger audience than the '59 Bazooka, and will always carry higher appeal.

Thanks Steve. I was amazed--only 2 gradeable 1959 Bazooka Mantles ever popped, none better than VG-EX 4.

looking for PELLE LINDBERGH's psa and 1960 fleer baseball psa 8 and up
sets in progress

Still the Topps?
With the extra money I would pay off student loans and take a nice trip.
While most collectors would probably desire a 52 Topps, the 59 Bazooka is much, much harder to find ... especially in a number-grade condition higher than a 3 or 4. A PSA 8 would be off the charts!
The very few '59 Bazooka Mantles that I've seen lately are/have been PSA 0 (Authentic).
Levi (707), Frank (Evanov), and I (PoppaJ) are the only Mickey Mantle Master Set Registry owners, that I know of, that currently have one with an actual number grade.
I wouldn't be surprised at all if a PSA 8 1959 Bazooka Mantle would sell in the $50,000 - $75,000 range at a major auction house!
Who knows? It could go even higher!
JMHO,

You're a joker, right?
Steve
The '59s just do not exist. I think Mantle/Yankee collectors would pay more for one than the '52 would get.
Good question!
