2009 MLB Draft, Will Strasburg not go #1?

So many variables tied to Stephen Strasburg and the obvious headaches to get this Boras represented kid signed to an official MLB contract.
Will the Washington Nationals take him at #1 and cough up the money in the end? Or will we see a shocker and watch him get passed onto the Seattle Mariners at #2?

I would love to see Seattle get Strasburg but i'm not sure if this is the key to the Mariner's future.

Will be an interesting Tuesday.

He is #1 for sure.

The ESPN shows would have nothing to discuss if they all just said, yeah he is first overall for sure.

Number 1 no question. You are correct about dealing with Boras and the money that will be involved. I would be suprised if he is signed by Sept. This contract is going to make J.D. Drew's first contract laughable.

That and possibly a clause for no work in the minors, straight to the big leagues.

I just hope the kid doesn't get hurt through this whole thing. You know everyone and their brother are trying to get something out of this kid. Telling him what is right and wrong, I am glad he has a HOF'er as a coach that will help him through it.
