Centerpiece of the Butler collection is here - thank you Bob!

Today's mail brought the original contract that promoted Butler from the AA Savannah Braves to the AAA Richmond Braves, signed by Hank Aaron no less! Bob (rbdjr1) posted a scan of this a few days ago, and graciously offered to me when I contacted him. He picked it up almost five years ago when it was auctioned on eBay. I was one of the underbidders; I'd forgotten all about it until he posted it. This is officially the centerpiece of my collection!

Wow! Great item, congratulations. I grew up in Richmond, those Braves teams were the first baseball games I ever attended at old Parker Field. It was funny seeing Paul Runge's name on the contract as well, he was my favorite Richmond Brave because we both played 2nd base.
