In addition to these being my favorite error/variety I'm always impressed with the original color around IGWT,Date,LIBERTY. It accentuates/highlights the doubling so well.

Not the most eye appealing, but it is a Penny and currently the only one graded by our host.
What is the date? That's one I would love to look for.

Incomplete planchets wanted, especially Lincoln Cents & type coins.

Aussie 1919 1d with one dot. What makes this special is the coin is a DDO and DDR. But the real interesting part is that there is a challenging 1919 two dot variety which is highly sought after. So this is a date that gets scrutiny... and has for decades. I find it hard to believe that this was likely a DISCOVERY coin... hard to prove a negative, but the coin has a look that suggests more should exist and should have been found earlier. I suspect this is significantly tougher than the two dot 1919 1d.

One of my all time sentimental favorites...I found this one on a hot steamy august night...age 17, rollpicking, with coins spread out all over my bed. Ran out to my Dad, who was sitting reading the newpaper...jammed it in front of his face an yelled I FOUND ONE I FOUND ONE!!!!!!!!!!!! he said, Yup, you DID! not too long after, being a broke kid, I needed money, and sold it to my Mom for sixty dollars. It sat in the safe in house until three years ago, when she passed on. I submitted it, and got a 63RB because of a fingerprint (not mine) on the face. All in all, a nice coin Ill keep forever.
Wow, as nice as your DDO cent is, your story is even better!
