    How's the price?

What do you think of the 6 in the date?
  • Hi Josh.

    Not too bad - <$100

Very good question. The picture in the JNDA catalog is of an M6 and this one does seem to be a little different. I haven't heard from the seller yet on my inquiry about weight and diameter, so I think I'll send him a request for a closeup of the 6 as well. Keep your fingers crossed.

    Any word yet?
  • The seller has pretty good feedback considering where he is, and a good return policy, so I took the gamble. Although I'm usually not a fan of slabbing, unless in hand it is an obvious fake, this one will be off to PCGS as soon as it gets here. If they authenticate it, I'll photograph it in the slab before breaking it out.

(If that's bronze disease I'm seeing, it may go to NCS.) image

Although I am not sure about the 6, my gut feeling is that it's genuine. We'll see if my gut feeling is worth anything... image

So, have you managed to snag this one yet?

    Any news?
  • It arrived, and looks good, but I'm awaiting results on a submission to NGC before bragging about it.

I didn't see any green spots in hand. image

Cool! I look forward to seeing it.

Congratulations. It was a long wait, wasn't it?

Well, it's less than 5 years since I filled the next to last hole in the series, so it wasn't tooooooooo long.

I'll keep looking though, and let you know if I find another one.
