Precious metals news sources needed.

Hey folks.

I don't post often on this board, and I've already searched the existing posts, so I was wondering if any of you have particular web sites (other than Kitco which I'm familiar with) that provide exceptional news coverage of precious metals commodities, especially platinum.

For example, platinum is going up quickly despite the fact that car manufacturing is a driver of demand and American car manufacturers seem to be shutting down manufacturing plants, temporarily at least. So, why is platinum still going up in price so quickly? Is it the dollar decline? Something else? Where do you go to find the answers?

    Kitco has enough resources on it's board in the gold/silver/commodities forums to give you many diff sources of research to get you answers on currencies, bonds, stocks, etc. Platinum reacts to many of the same influences as the other items. One could just stay on Kitco and get a good overall flavor of what is happening in the commodity and metal markets.

    Some of the sites I visit below also follow platinum and precious industrial metals. Goldseek.com is another good one.

    Platinum is going up with commodities in general against the weakening UST and USDollar.

    Kitco has cool live quotes for PMs you can see on our computer tool bar. its a free download. No searching for current gold, silver, platiminum or palladium prices.

    I mentioned that I was familiar with Kitco. Quotes are easy; finding articles written by people who know what's going on is a little more difficult.

    Looks interesting, but the articles on platinum going up fast were available to subscribers only! First, I'll try to get it for free.

    As RR stated, there are plenty of very in the know folk that post to the Kitco silver, gold, and other forums...if you look at the little tabs on top of the Kitco site and click on the gold forum, you will see silver, gold, platinum, palladium discussion boards. Realize that just with this forum, there is no one person that can say exactly what is going to happen but there is plenty of information for you to consider and respond to as you may feel is appropriate. Now, if you want to subscribe to some fee newsletter, I can already tell you what they are going to say...BUY! Good luck.
