I HAVE TO GIVE MAJOR PROPS TO A FELLOW BOARD MEMBER

I purchased a 48 Bowman PSA 7 Yogi Berra RC from board member Keith (JDMI32) a couple weeks ago. Some time goes by and Keith begins PM'ing me to inquire if I had recieved the card yet. Always a great sign when your buying a high dollar card. The card never arrives, and after a few more days, Keith springs into action and begins inquireing with the post office. He provides me delivery confirmation and receipts indicating the package had been delivered.
One small problem, the package went Fayetteville NC, rather than Davidson NC. One digit on the zip code was out of place, and the package went to the wrong location. In looking through my PM's to the seller, I realized that I was at fault and in the haste of typing out my address, I provided the wrong zip code to Keith.
On Monday of this week, Keith contacts me to let me know that the card had been delivered back to him in CA as undeliverable. So back to the post office he goes, to spend another $15 to cover shipping, insurance and signature confirmation.
The card arrives to today. I get home and open my package not only to find my PSA 7 Berra RC, but also a slew of PSA 8 graded 1975 topps HOFers to go along with the 75 Topps set I am building.
To recap, I completely screw up, causing the seller to have to pay an extra $15 in shipping plus the time to take a package to the PO, and I get a slew of 75 Topps PSA 8's as a gift.
There are very few people this generous left on this planet, and felt everyone should know what a CLASS ACT, this guy is.

<< <i>Awesome story Matt. How about scanning the Berra for us?
Agreed. It didn't happen unless you post scans

<< <i>Nice Story Matt, Bring your Berra with you when we play golf next friday. Maybe we can play for it? >>
Bobby, I have seen you play golf, there's not much chance I will lose that card
Anyone think it has a chance to bump to 7.5?

Great story Matt! I'm glad it worked out.
Of course it doesn't change the fact that you should be beaten with a rubber hose for providing the wrong address.
Just sayin

Matt, Couldnt agree with you more, I was TOTALLY at fault on this deal, and the seller went WAY out of his way to make this a perfect transaction.
Thanks,
