I just emailed psa because I am 99.9 % sure they messed up and labeled all my Welch Error's as correct.

I am awaiting an answer and my Sheffield 89 Upper Deck with upside down "SS" on front was ignored.

Also, the A. Gonzalez Heritage "Rangers" Varitation was ignored.

Seems like bad Customer Service to me.

Did you guys note the error under the "variety" column on the sub sheet? If you put it there they don't usually miss it.

what is wrong with the rogers card???
he had no major league experience so I don't think that is an error..

I think he was showing the Rogers card as an example of an '89 Topps back. The Welch is missing that line all together. When I was a kid I would take a sharpie to my Welch cards to make me feel cool... lol

It's a pretty hard error to find.

    Yeah, I noted the variation.

I emailed the pictures to them, and also asked what they suggest for the future.

    So we will see

PSA mislables cards all the time.

All most everytime I send in a submission I'm sending back 1 or 2 cards that have been misidentified.

They want you to submit those cards on a separate submission form labled "Mechanical Error" - I usually write on the form what the mistake was. You don't have to pay for return shipping.

So I wrote to PSA and attached the above pictures. I got my first response back that said,

"IN order for a variety/error to be listed it has to be listed in the catalog that way. If it is not listed by the manufactuer in the catalog we will not recognize it. The catalogs that I am referring to are but out by the manucacturers and Beckett."

Obvousily the Welch error is listed in every publication. I haven't check the lastest Beckett, so can someone confirm that for me ?

What is even more frustrating is that she totally didn't comment on my pictures, give any empathy, nor tell me what I should do from here. The above quote was the complete email that I recieved. I emailed back that the error does apprear in these publications and was labeled on the submission form as an error and PSA put "correct".
I will let you know how it turns out.

The fact that they labled it as "CORRECT" tells me that they recognize the error.

Just call them up, tell them that they mis-labeld a card "correct" instead of "error" and they'll tell you to send it in as a "mechanical error" for reholdering.

the thing that worries me is I have a stack of 50 errors I want to submit, and now I feel like I have to explain , IN DETAIL, what the error is on every single card....

    I guess I must, lloll
