Unfortunately the Tokyo International Coin Conventionn was last month.

I've never been to the TICC, but Japanese collector friends tell me it is much larger than the Osaka show I did attend, and that one was in a league with Long Beach. The Japan Mint issues a specially packaged Mint set at the TICC.

Bummer! I was in Nagoya last week and missed the coin and stamp festival, that would have been interesting.

Don't come to Ukraine and expect to find anything beyond worn out junk, fakes, and PVC'ed Soviet stuff. You can find people selling states quarters from the USA though, and so far they haven't corroded to green slime.

You obviously know about COINEX in London as you are planning to attend. There are several smaller ones dotted about mainly in England but unfortunately I haven't had the chance to go to many abroad.

I did go to one in Salzburg but unless you are looking for Austrian and German coins I wouldn't personally recommend it.
It was well advertised locally and I expected it to be larger then it was.

Though I have never attended the TOREX show in Toronto is being held June 26-28.

And the RCNA show is being held in Edmonton this year on August 12-16.

Sadly, I'll miss both this year.

I've been to the TOREX show a couple of times. Mainly Canadian coins. Expensive to park and entrance fee.

I went to the Torex show a few years ago, it was in some very tightly packed room in the hotel, worst show for tight aisles, hot etc I have ever been to.

Randy Weir is still the only reason I attend TOREX and I live just 15 minutes away.

In Lisbon the best ones are the organized by the "Moeda" magazine which take place at the "Hotel Roma" 4 or 6 times a year, until the end of the year there will be shows on October 10th and November 21st.

    Spain:
The shows promoted by the Spanish Association of Professional Numismatists (AENP), here's a link to the 2009 events (the best ones are in Madrid):
