Wow, this sucks, I've been anxiously waiting for this one for a week. I usually win when I decide to go after something. Losing sucks!!

    yeah I'm with you on that one, looks like someone wanted it more than both of us. Its funny but about a year, maybe a year 1/2 ago I saw one sell for UNDER $100! Oh how times have changed! On one hand I'm happy and pissed, pissed cause I lost it and I know I'm gonna have to wait another year or two for another to pop up and happy cause the money I would have put toward this is going to Hank Aaron's signing next week

    Are you getting a rookie signed? I've got a feeling I know who won the Doby, I think it's one of my good friends on the board here who I always tell people has a much better signed rookie card collection than I do. I hope he got it and I'll be happy for him, and it will alleviate some of the competition next time one pops up as well. I know it's one of only a couple he still needed to complete his registry set. I PM'd him to see if it was him.

    I figure another will pop up much sooner than a year or two. Some people are struggling with the economy and I think when they see a nice sale like this one, they'll want to try their luck.

    yeah, I can never be upset when it goes to fellow HOF RC Auto collector. Nice 63' you got, that would be sweet once Aaron signs it, I was thinking of doing another one because with mine Mays signed where Frank Robby should have and I would like another shot to get it right. And yeah I'm getting another Aaron 54' because I had to sell the one I got last year which I am regretting as it was a beauty,
