took a flyer on some raw proofs, some rather appealing, like this one:
more nicely detailed than most other Phils, including some '61s!


(I find no issues in the '61 mirror areas; there are a few light scratches on Ben's face, severely amplified by photography/ lighting
which brings out the best and the worst- and probably the reason this proof is not SUPER-GEM)

FSH: BU Nickel Rolls, owned by me. Almost all of these were bought from Arlan Kramer in Pennsylvania during the year that they were minted. I made it a practice to put them into plastic tubes using cotton gloves immediately when I received them. None of these rolls have ever been searched for anything. I simply hoarded them, and in 2004 I stopped with my obsessive nickel roll hoarding and moved on to other hoarding projects.

Here's a super sweet 1955 proof Roosevelt. I submitted it myself to PCGS and really expected to get a CAM designation.
It's very frosty on the obverse and just slightly less so on the reverse. There's no reason it should not be graded higher.

Here's a beautiful & nearly perfect 1996 Silver Eagle. Just a tiny little waterspot on the left obverse keeps this
