    Mid-1790s, if it is.

    LM is correct - it is a Conder token from the mid-1790's.

    Catalogued by Dalton and Hamer as Surrey Guildford #9 and is a common token.
    The obverse features the arms of the town of Guildford; a castle with a leopard below. The reverse is a 3/4 figure of Bishop Blaize (the patron saint of woolcombers) behind a woolpack.

    Your token would be in the $5-10 range
