What an ugly card!

You think the highlight of the card would be the cut auto of Cy Young, but instead they put it on the back with the fine print and put Randy Johnson and Roger Clemens cuts on the front. Not to mention most of the signature is cut off! Who ever designed this abortion should be fired! To think of how much must have been spent to purchase the document with the sig, just to be defiled, puts a knot in my stomach!

Disgraceful!

    I have only 1 question.

    Why is the Cy Young Autograph on the back of the card and not on the front?

    Is upper deck saying Jonson and Clemens are better than Cy Young? It's his award. Also, I believe the Young is worth more than both of the other 2 together.

    Yes, that is a horrible looking card.

    I agree. Maybe it was an added surprise. You're all excited about the dual auto until you flip it over to see if it's serial #'d. Then you get the real surprise.

    Edit: Missed the 1/1 on the front.

    I can think of a couple guys here on the boards that would have done
    a much better job designing that card.

    Sad that they cut that auto like that because it looks like one of Cy's better autos, nice and clean, not as shaky as some of his cut sigs you see. Upper Deck in my opinion has ruined cards and collecting. I loved their early stuff, but if I knew it would lead to things like this I'd be totally happy with them being nonexistent!

    Is the auto necessary cut? Maybe the window is obscuring the complete sig?

    I gotta agree - What, Cy Young wasn't good enough to warrant having his own card? LOL

    and they butchered the cut sig, cutting off some of the sig - Pathetic!
