David Hall 1st Generation Flips

I went into a pawn shop today whenever my wife went to the pharmacy next door. It was a dark, dirty place and everything was over priced! I asked about coins and was directed to a case. Inside the case were two coins in the original David Hall sealed flips. One was a 1943 D Walker graded MS65 and they wanted $295. for it. The other was a buffalo nickel, which I did not look at, but the price was $195. It was surprising to see them in a pawn shop!

About a year ago I went into a pawn shop to kill a few minutes and when I asked if the guy had any coins, he opens his safe and pulls out a 1794 Flowing Hair Half Dollar in PCGS plastic (graded 15 I think). I damn near fell on the floor. He wanted a ridiculous amount (like 20K) so I just handed it back but damn.......
I wonder what he paid for that....
Some coins are just plain "Interesting"
