NewP *1851* Gold Dollar PCGS AU55 joins the gang!

On a previous thread...I had posted a link to this auction. Well I got to really looking at it, and realized it should be a coin I was buying...so I did! AU55, hometown slab, common date, low price, great seller (Barry Stuppler) etc etc.
His pictures really did not do this coin justice at all. Very much old crusty gold, with that almost patina like frosy mint bloom.
A few nicks, one in the field on the obverse is probably what gave it this grade.
Should finally be getting her cousin in from Charlotte in a few days. "booking passage" has been a real long drawn out affair.
Anyway, 1851 gold dollar PCGS AU55
