Any Gehrig auto experts??

First off, I rarely deal with autographs, so excuse my ignorance. I recently picked this card up, and know what it sold for a few years back, but would appreciate any opinions on what the current "market" value of what this auto might be. Thanks in advance.

I forget off the top of my head from which auction house this card originally derived, but I'm not sure why you think there have been any compelling market condition changes over the past 3-5 years that would change the inherent valuation of a pre-war Gehrig signed baseball card.
I am actively buying MIKE SCHMIDT gem mint baseball cards. Also looking for any 19th century cabinets of Philadephia Nationals. Please PM with additional details.

Great card and a wonderful historical piece ....

When I see autographed cards in that condition, it makes me wonder if the card was in that same condition at the time of the signing!

Talk about a "fly on the wall"!

No idea on value, but thanks for sharing!

    mikeschmidt,
Maybe I should clarify. I do not know which major auction house sold it or for how much. I do know what a private collector bought it for from a dealer. That price struck me as a little high, but as I mentioned, I'm not very in-tune with auto prices, hence my original question.
    Thanks

The card has been sold multiple times over the years. Back when it was with Clean Sweep, I had thought about taking a run at it but passed. Last time I saw it was when it was with baberuthautographs.com I believe. I could be wrong, but they were looking for $10K for it.
