Is there an online guide with pics and prices for darkside material?** added 1st batch

I have several hundred darkside coins dating from the early 1800's to the early 1900's... I do have some scans of approx 30-50 of them is anyone wants to take a shot at id'ing them. Just pm me.

Your best bets for "online guides" are:

NumisMaster - the site run by the people that make the Krasue world coin catalogues. Click on"Find My Coin". Looking up coins is free; to see pics, you have to register with them, and for mintages and catalogue values, you have to pay a subscription.

World Coin Gallery has most of the commoner 19th and 20th century types listed. Prices are generic for the type; any scarce dates or varieties probably won't be listed.

CoinArchives is a database of past B&M auction sales of rarer coins and medals. If it's too old or scarce for WCG, chances are you can find at least one on CoinArchives. Prices realised at some of the auction houses tend to be somewhat higher than typical electronic/retail prices.

Specific countries (eg. British, Australian etc) might have a more detailed site dedicated to that country.
Waste no more time arguing what a good man should be. Be one.

Apparently I have been awarded the DPOTD twice. B)

Feel free to post your scans in batches of 5-10 coins per post, we enjoy id'ing them!

Like Farthing said! Except you need to offer a giveaway, preferably gold!image No really, just post a picture of the ones you are sure you do not know much about and I am sure that someone can help

    with the identification. image

Going in a 2 formation starting with the upper left.

    1)France 1951b 10 francs
    2)Thailand 1974 1 baht
    3)Mexico 1937 1 cent
    4)Costa Rica 1935 25 cent
    5)Denmark 1942 1 krone
    6)German Empire 1875c 5 Pfennig
    7)Germany 1936 F Weimer republic 5 reichsphennig
    8)Great Britain 1942 1/2 penny

These are not worth much at all. .25 each if you are lucky. The Denmark piece may be worth $1

    First group -

    Top row:

    France, Thailand and Mexico.

    Second row:

    Norway, Costa Rica

    Bottom row:

    Germany, Germany, Great Britain.

    Second group -

    Top row:

    Too dark to see, France

    Second row:

    Great Britain, France

    Bottom row:

    France, Thailand.

I don't have my Krause handy, so I can't be more specific in IDing them. It would be very helpful to have the pictures right side up!

The Mexican 5Cent is a revolutionary piece from the state of Chihauhau. It is worth at lest $10.

Everything else is not worth much.

Nothing much in the last two batches. The Mexican 5c piece is nice maybe $10-$15. The Costa Rican piece has a mintage of 250,000, but most probably look like yours. The GB 3 pence is silver .0227 oz. The holed coin is Asian and I personally know nothing about attributing it.
