Slamming Ebay generally is getting old, but in this case..........you are spot on. It is horrible. It looks like what Ebay's pages could've looked like in the early 90's had they been around then.

<< <i>pathetic, if u have 10-12 pics, most people wouldnt even know to scroll on the stupid pics to see them, its awful, ebay sucks >>
My newest eBay style on Opera browser has an option to view the listings as a gallery, list, or snapshot...I have mine saved as a list with 200 listings per page.
Change is ok when it ACCOMPLISHES SOMETHING or when it make something BETTER. Change in order to just have something different when the original was working fine absolutely stinks.
The people that started Ebay and developed it over the first 8 or 9 years knew what they were doing. I think those people have retired and then they hired a bunch of idiotic retards.
My main problem is the picture change. It made it worse. The rest of the change was just senseless because they just moved information to where you have to hunt for it to find it.
The problem is what is the alternative? I have seen a few companies try to compete but the all fail. And according to our records in the small sector we cover numbers are way down from a year ago.

Sure some of it is due to the economy but as well there are less listings as well as lower quality material being offered.
What I hate most about the changes - in the old page, when I began to type in a search term, the search terms I had previously typed in would show below the box - so if I had looked for "Ken Strong" and typed "K - then "Ken Strong" would appear below and I could use that as my shortcut - it also reminded me of all the searches I had done that began "K. Now, these terms no longer appear, but the page makes suggestions, like "Kris Kringle" or "Kleenex" based on some program that is supposed to guess what I am thinking.
Also, the search engine has less power. I search for 192* football so I can see any items that include a date from the 1920s and the word football. Then I search for 193* football -192* - so I can see football items that are from the 1930s but excule items that I've already seen in my 192* search - the old search page handled this with no problem - the new search page returns 0 results with a message "we are unable to complete your search at this time, try again later" or something like that - I tried for a week - the new engine cannot handle excluding any number with a *.
Ahhhhhhhhhhh...........no need to worry, Ebay will let you choose your old page style for a mere .50 a month. (coming soon) Ooops, i think i just helped them figure a way to screw us more.
ps I want to opt out also............new format hugs nads.

I guess it just depends on how easy it is to adapt to. Ask this again in 2-3 weeks you might get different answers from people.
Right now I just don't know.
