Scanning PCGS barcode using Symbol CS1504

Has anybody successfully used the Symbol Technologies CS1504 portable USB based barcode scanner to acquire data from PCGS coin slabs?

If so how and with what software?

    Scanning the barcode is one thing, having the database to lookup what the number in the barcode mean is another thing altogether.

    I scan the bar codes easily with my reader. Basically, it reads the number off the slab and types it in to the computer.

    You do need access to the database in order to do more useful work.
