How about a Coin Picture Thread 'showing off' your dull and mundane coins? Here's one of mine. . .

No Monsters or Mooses allowed in this thread! No killer rainbow ultra neon wild lustrous beauties either!
Just the simple, blue collar coins. A 'special' coin (to you) that you like.
Post your coins that are average- typical, whatever but rank high in your mind simply because... well. . . actually you don't have a reason why- you just kind of have taken a fancy to it, and to all
who mock it be damned.
Here's one of mine:
I like this coin. I like the older holder. I know it is nothing special, but I don't care. It's mine and it stays right where it's at.

BTW Braddick, do you have a website showcasing your coins? I love 99% of the coins ive seen you post.
EDITED to add: It may be a common date/mm/grade, but it's not dull.

But I like them more so than the crazy neon's.....OK, call me crazy
Something about the more subdued but nice toners seem to have more appeal to me

Following the OP's lead here. Here's my "mundane" common date Morgan:

<< <i> You need to post a dull and mundane coin image or change the title of the thread. >>
If that coin is one of your low-end, dull, mundaners, your disposable income must rival that of an NBA All-Star!

(No website, although years ago I registered, www.peacockcoins.com yet have done nothing with it outside of paying the yearly fees to keep it registered. One day. . .)

Nice! Perhaps "common" but so far I have yet to see anything "dull" and "mundane". Maybe I just have my target aimed alot lower then the rest of the posters.
I love the Morgans posted so far, though!

Then Barndog posts his common POS that doesn't even belong on this thread let alone any thread here on CU! Shame on you Barndog!

Almost as nice as the colorful Obama Dollars.

I dig that toning shade of blue... sorta matches the lines on the slab label.
<< <i>This one belonged to my mother and her father before her. It was given to me on my mothers death bed after she kissed it for me. My grandfathers b-day year. >>
The significance of that coin is neither dull or mundane.
the reverse below (in my sig) comes close, maybe- but there's nothing dull or mundane about a Morgan "O" with a great eagle!!
