I've been taking advantage of the enticingly priced specials in recent months, and I thought I'd share a few of my better results.

<< <i>Great stuff Nick! Do you have a graded 72 set? I know you were working on a raw set.
Thanks for sharing. >>
Bob, I do have a graded 1972 set which is primarily PSA 8s and PSA 9s. Im at approx. 45% complete, so it's slowly shaping up.

<< <i>Great cards Nick...The Carlton hand cut card is amazing!!!!!! Did you cut that yourself from an uncut panel?
brian >>
Thanks Brain, and yes I cut the 1975 Hostess Steve Carlton myself from a full panel I had.
Such a gripping tale of success. Please let me know when the documentary comes out so I can set my DVR.

Drunk already Lee? It's only 10:17. When you sober up a little, table 17 needs more another coke and extra napkins. Chop chop.
Shows what you know. There is no table 17. Dumbass.
<< <i>Nick you seem to do really well with those hand cut Hostess cards, I remember awhile back you did great with some others. Are you getting these and cutting them yourself? >>
Yes I am Paul. I had 1 full panel with Steve Carlton, and 5 full panels with Nolan Ryan on them. Within the last year I cut 4 of the Ryan Panels and got three PSA 9s and one PSA 10.

+1 for a nice trim job statement!!!!
Congrats on cutting up vintage pieces of sports memorabilia for profit. You should be very proud of yourself.
Steve
Great cards, Nick.

Scissors, exacto, rotary cutter, etc....?? Which is the best to use for these type of cards?
<< <i>Nick, if you don't mind me asking, what did you use as a cutting tool? I have some Hostess panels that I'm thinking of chopping into singles or at least cleaning up the edges and keeping them in panel form.

I was wondering the same thing but for my 52 Mantle panel rather than the Hostess cards.
Nice cards Nick - hi

A while back I bought one of those guillotine type cutters with the arm that goes up and down. It serves a dual purpose since I have a 3 year old and she gets pictures taken about 3 times a year (Birthday, Christmas, and Easter) that have to be cut from sheets to give out to relatives. Also, now I have new things to look for at card shows like uncut hostess panels and uncut Post issues.
