From the pics, I'd say an easy 64.
Listen. Strange women lying in ponds distributing swords is no basis for a system of government. Supreme executive power derives from a mandate from the masses, not from some farcical aquatic ceremony.

I agree with the MS64 crowd.

I think some of the marks I'm seeing are on the holder, in which case I'd say MS64. If they are all on the coin, a nice MS63.

  • Solid 64...nice coin.

    I'd say ms64,

because of the large picturee and the cc mintmark, perhaps a long shot at an ms65.

  • Goodness, I'm gonna have to stay away from this one then!

This is a classic example of the subjective nature of grading and the impact of eye appeal. It is truly an outstanding coin- I think my initial thoughts were alittle harsh due to micro grading- If the obverse fields were a little cleaner, I would have said 65. I think the field hits are alittle magnified based on the surfaces and likely look worse than they are. I would not be that quick to run from this one.

  • Just remember: CC's get a little forgiveness. And, with the color: Eye appeal gives a little and forgives a lot!
