Coming Soon: Rhodium Bullion Coins

Rhodium is a member of the platinum metals group. It is silvery white in appearance and highly reflective. It has been used as a finish for jewelry and mirrors, electric connections in aircraft turbine engines, in catalytic converters of automobiles, and in alloys with platinum and palladium. Rhodium is known as one of the most scarce and expensive precious metals, but there have been few avenues for investing in the rhodium. This will soon change when the world's first rhodium bullion coin becomes available.

Nice that they figured out how to coin rhodium. I would prefer something bigger than one gram.

The idea is cool, but the 1 gr. size is too small. I wonder if technical constraints with Rhodium make it hard to mint bigger sizes.

It's a little pricey at $100 for a gram that's worth less than $40 melt. Does anyone make one ounce bars?

Not me, I'm in for some Rhodium but I want at least 1/2 oz pieces from well known refiners with Assay cert. Probably be hard to sell Rhodium period, Even harder from a place not everyone has heard of.

Agree. I'd buy at current prices with premiums equivalent to what platinum is bringing. But I'd want something a little more legit looking, and I've never seen the point of bullion in less than ounce sizes.

I guess I'd probably try to figure out how to make a bullion coin if I could get 250%+ of spot for it!!!!

With a realistic premium I might be interested.

I was not happy with my purchase from Cohen Mint. Their customer service sucks.
