The card could have been trimmed by some kid back in the days when the gum inside was worth more. ...or maybe by some blind kid with scissors in his hand.
61's and 3's major producers of so called trimi's. Back in the day selling for girlfriends father he had about 500 61's and 3's that looked like that. First I thought he had a whack shop then he told me thats how they rolled. Learned alot in them years with so much product to sift through. Rightside could be trimmed but in that cards case it really doesnt matter.
The card appears to have a factory tilt AND a handyman's special. The notch on the edge is the telltale giveaway as is the asymmetrical aspects of the left and right edges (the top and bottom do appear to be relatively symmetrical, however). It may not have been a recent trimming, but there's no way that any TPG would holder that card or even categorize it as a Miscut.

The top and bottom look like that could have happened at the factory...
The sides though, look like a lame attempt at trimming.

Funny how he describes it as possibly trimmed, yet still says, "If you are looking for a solid Rookie Gifford card here you go!!!"
I'm not a football fan, but even I heard of Gifford. Probably a high priced card if not trimmed.

Looks like a factory miscut to me. Everything appears symetrical bottom right border comes in bottom left goes out.
The right side tho bothers me.
I do have a 1961 Topps card cut almost like that right side.

Has plenty of those "infamous" Xmas rack packs for sale - get 'em before they're all sold out. LOL

"Molon Labe"
I'm not positive that it was trimmed.
