Heritage box relic/auto guarantee question.

One Relic or Auto per hobby box guarantee, what happens when none of the above is pulled?

Does Topps take any action to service the customer?

Would like to verify before I go on my first Heritage binge.

    The feces throwing monkeys at Topps CS are >>> than the ones at UD.

    Topps will have you send all the wrappers and a receipt to CS and you will get some random 50 cent game used card.

    I bought a Bowman (Topps) Box and didn't get the auto. They will send you one. I had to send in UPC and receipt. Like all the other people who had the same problem I read about, I got a common player auto.

    *edit- maybe it was wrappers not UPC. I dunno.

    Topps sucks! I get screwed every time with their redemption team. If you don't have the product don't release it. They are the classic bait and switch shop.

    wow, if you aren't scared off already Il give you my opinion. Chances are you are not going to get screwed in the box, and chances are the SP's+ you chromes
    are going to be more valuable than your GU. Do you have a card shop in town that has heritage? I wouldn't over pay for it!

    I've always been confused by the receipt part. What if I bought it at a card show? I never get receipts at card shows. Or on eBay. Am I SOL? Will they accept a hand-written receipt?

    On that note I purchased my first 2009 Heritage hobby box today from a great local shop, talked it down to $75.
    That was the last box for the shop and so now I'm scratching my head whether to buy from ebay or another online source.

    My main goal is to finish the base set and fiddle with the SP's and refractors.

    Approaching this with the "build set & have fun" mentaility.

    None the less I was curious about the guarantee relic/auto deals and how Topps would deal with those rare misses.
