Several years ago I saw something called The Coin Vault. It was two yokels selling slabbed bullion for high prices.
  • thats it ! I thought so I just wanted to verify what I thought ! Those guys are crazy huh . Last night they were on and would only sell " lots of coins " all graded but he would tell you all the grades and go so fast you can't keep up to try to copy what coins they were ! Guys were a joke

I think the Yiddish term of oy gevalt (woe is me) would be a much better name for the show. image

There should be no pen and paper involved to copy what the lots are, my friend. Just stay away...very far away.
  • I think the Coin Vault is one of the places the PCGS price guide gets its prices from. image

The guide seems to base values on the asking price and the Coin Vault’s asking prices is 99% of the time very high.

Anyways, every once in a while there’s something for sale at fair market value on the Vault at 3AM but most often it's just very hyped up, over priced, Mint State but common coins. Lots of nice stuff but rarely any rarities and you'll over pay for what you get.
