Wow. 1978 McCovey PSA 10

I have small Willie Mays and Juan Marichal collections, and I've often thought about starting a McCovey collection.

Wow.

I'm assuming these are set collectors chasing this one. Any 1978 guys here care to comment?

Card is super tough 50/50 centering. Pleny of 60/40's out there that will go into a psa 9 holder. I was wondering when one of these would pop up cuz I was interested in seeing the final realized price.

Definately a white whale among 1978 PSA 10 set builders.

crazy money lol. which is why i prefer to have a nice raw set for cheap cheap money.

Hmm. The guy who used to have the #1 Willie McCovey basic set just got unseated by Don Spence, and is now selling off this card. Between Spence and the 78 collectors, he's gonna make some nice money if everyone weighs in.
