Ugly Card Competition

I believe I own the ugliest card of all time--an Al Widmar 1952 Topps. My guess is that Lance Armstrong put this one in his bicycle spokes when he won the first tour de France and continued to each year after for good luck.

Anyone have an uglier one?

    I gotta admit that cards like that appeal to me in a big way- nothing ugly about them at all!!

    Im not kidding either, there is something about an old card that has been handled a million times and the character it gets from its travels through time.

    Looking forward to some more scans of oldies but goodies!

    This currently resides in my wallet, and has for a long while now. This was officially my first Ripken card. My step-brother gave it to me in 1985 right before he left for the Army. He's still in the Army! image

    I've got a couple of entries in the ugly contest - back when I was 12-15 years old, I just thought any old cards were cool, no matter what the condition. I've had these forever and am even thinking about getting them slabbed under the May special. The Bednarik is 52 Large and the Vance is actually a 1933 World Wide Gum (Canadian Goudey).

    vintage cards with tears and creases... not ugly at all. WELL LOVED image got some mileage, but they were held onto, appreciated, etc.

    now this is an ugly card, well any card featuring the 1990 topps design. Hideous, repulsive, nauseating..

    My cousin and I traded this card back and forth back in '62 'cuz we both thought it was one of the ugliest cards ever. The more it got traded the uglier it got!

    The guy with the massive biceps is from the next town over from me.

    He is standing in front of the Yorktown Police dept. He owned the local Golds Gym.

    Anyway, one evening after our softball game my son and I went to the local diner and

    that guy was at the counter!! It was the most disgusting thing I have ever seen.

    My son's and my jaws dropped and ht the floor when we saw that guy.

    WTF was he thinking?
