Lakers/Kobe v. Nuggets/Mello NBA Western Conference Championship Series. Entertaining?

in Sports Talk
I think so. Mello is a stud.
The Nuggets should beat Dallas in at least one of the next four games [no NBA team has ever come back from a 3-0 deficit to win 4-3 so Denver has history on its side].
Lakers v. Rockets - who knows the outcome. Tied up 2-2. The Rockets have no true center now and are streaky shooters who can win if their shots are falling. The Lakers look unbeatable one game and look out of sinc and disinterested the next.

Maybe someone will post a reply if the Lakers and Nuggets close out the Rockets and Mavericks later this week.
Im curious. Before this season...actually before the All Star break, could you have named more than 3 players on the team?
I have not followed Denver's NBA team much since I moved to California in 1978. However, I keep up on box scores and players on the team. The team has had great success this year (after many years of mediocrity with either no playoffs or first round exits).
At the beginning of the year I knew that Denver had Carmelo Anthony, Nene, Allan Iverson, Kenyon Martin, the tattooed white guy Anderson. I knew that Denver traded Iverson to obtain Billups (great move).
I have posted about the team recently since the Nuggets have played well in the regular season and playoffs. If Denver can close out the Mavericks (game 5 tonight), then the Western Conference finals will be a great showcase for Carmello Anthony [he is a stud who has not received much playoff media spotlight in prior years].
If/when the Nuggets bow out of the playoffs, I will obviously turn my attention to other things and let the Sports Forum return to its baseball and football roots.
Kenyon Martin
Nene
Carmelo Anthony
Anthony Carter
J.R. Smith
Chauncy Billups
Chris Andersen
Linas Kleiza
Steven Hunter (hurt)
Renaldo Balkman
and I"m not even a Nuggets fan.. he he.
