Don't forget about the Rhodium, Pt, pd, ag in the Cat converter image

My fiance' has been bugging me for one of those 300C's. They are sharp but think I'd have went for the new charger or challenger first. Did you get a good deal?

They had a 300C there but I passed on it. The C model is the V8. I'm coming from driving an F250 4X4 with a 5.8L V8 as a daily commuter of 70 miles a day. The gas was fracking killing me. I wanted the V6 to get the extra mileage, this Chrysler gets more than double the mileage I was getting in the truck. Plus the V6's are cheaper than the V8 C models.

We've been looking for the right one for a little bit now and finally found it. It was in a city about 60 miles from where we live. It was a 2005 with 34,000 miles on it. We were headed out this morning to go do the deed when I decided to check today's Sunday paper real quick before we left. Low and behold there was a new ad for the car pictured above, a 2005 with only 20,000 miles at a dealer only 10 minutes from our house....same exact car year, model and make as the distant car. This new one was also $4K cheaper. So we went to check it out and left with it. image

The dealer told us they purchased it on Thursday from a local estate sale. It had been owned by an older gentelman who passed away last month. When we ran the carfax report this confirmed that it had only 1 owner and he was out of the same town we bought the car in. No problems or wrecks ever on the carfax. Deal was done at that point.

The thing is ROOMY inside, drives like a dream, plenty of power...even with only a V6, looks frackin' cool. I got no complaints.
  • That car is easy on the eyes; unless you are trying to see out of it.

Not for me man. There were quite a few gangsta'd out 300's out there but I tried to stay as far away from one that looked like that as possible. My slightly scratched up wheel covers don't scream gansta to me lol.

You may want to call the dealer and ask him to hold on to your trade in. Google "Cash for Clunkers"image---------------------------BigE
