As we get closer to Memorial Day I just wanted to share a portion of an email I recently received. I know we have a few VETERANS as well as fathers and sons of VETERANS on this board ... I would personally like to thank them for everything they have done for us. GOD BLESS.
It is the VETERAN, not the preacher, who has given us freedom of religion.
It is the VETERAN, not the reporter, who has given us freedom of the press.
It is the VETERAN, not the poet, who has given us freedom of speech.
It is the VETERAN, not the campus organizer, who has given us freedom to assemble.
It is the VETERAN, not the lawyer, who has given us the right to a fair trial.
It is the VETERAN, not the politician, who has given us the right to vote.
And it is the VETERAN who has given his life so that we may have our Freedom:
ETERNAL REST GRANT UNTO THEM O LORD, AND LET PERPETUAL LIGHT SHINE UPON THEM.
PLEASE, THOSE FEW OF YOU WHO TRY TO CAUSE TROUBLE NO MATTER WHAT THE POST, THIS HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH RELIGIOUS OR POLITICAL AFFILIATION ... IT'S JUST A GENUINE THANK YOU!

Thanks to all the Veterans out there. My Dad fought in WWII and was part of D-Day. Unfortunately he's no longer with us but his flag is and it's my prized possession. RIP
