Anyone with any proficiency on Photoshop? I need help!

I am trying to learn how to set up a web site (using my wifes business as a guinea pig). I am wanting to finish up her logo and have an idea, but my only option is to mess around with what I want in Microsoft Word or Paint. Neither are good for what I want to do. Can anyone help me? I would be willing to trade your services for cards
