Auto help -- index card ? pen ?

Hey guys,

I have never really been into auto's ever since PSA told me that the Joe D. ball that I have is fake. Even though he signed it at the show, with a Coa, and a pic. I mean I kept it with my mantle, both were my favorite auto's but remain ungraded.

Now I have been thinking and I just figured out that I have some connections in baseball and in boxing that can get me free autos.

Since I dont want these people lugging around anything too big for me I am thinking of having them get me some signed index cards.

I was going to get a nice framed pic of each player then have the index card below in some type of matting or cutout in the frame.

So far I think it is a good idea. Here is the question?

Should I buy any specific types of index cards? or do they make something better?

and what pen / utencil should I have them sign with. Since I have never been into autos I am unsure. I am sick of looking at the bad prints on my walls and want some custom stuff.

Thanks in advance..

I have nothing productive to add. But I really don't care for index cards. I'd rather just print a picture of my choice, if that would be an option. And I'm also not big on the heavy sharpie autos. I'd go with a fountain pen.

Like so many of my opinions, probably not realistic. Or doable. image

Additionally, a lot of players won't sign plain white index cards anymore
