PSA 10 modern more than BGS 9.5 modern

I've noticed this trend for the past year, and it's a good thing.
Here's a quick looksey on 3 cards (all the same player/year):
BGS 9.5 Alexander Semin ended at $56.55
BGS 9.5 Alexander Semin ended at $51.00
PSA 10 Alexander Semin ended at $86.00

<< <i>I think it has to do with BGS loosening their standards. A few years ago BGS 10's of any card were hard to find. Now they seem to be all over the place. Just my opinion of course, but I assume that would also diminish the value of 9.5's. >>
Beavis: Yeah, Yeah, Semin.....I am the great Cornholio, I need Semin (And TP) for my Bunghole
<< <i>I noticed that on a lot of cards a long time ago. I remember buying an 87 t traded tiffany maddux rc 9.5 for around $70 and having the same card sell for around 165 at auction as a psa 10. >>
It seems like this started with the 2000 SP Tom BradyGate, and the momentum continued as guys like unklbnz kept dropping 100's of high dollar BGS 9.5's on the market seemingly every week. There has never, to my knowledge, been a bulk PSA submitter who emphasizes high dollar modern RC's the way some of the bulk BGS submitters have, and as a result the market for BGS 9.5's can at times seem swollen. Also, I there are buyers who will simply not touch BGS cards after that fiasco where the BGS rep admitted that they would slab anything that measured 2.5 x 3.5 (They don't have this policy in place anymore, but they did for quite a while in the early 2000's)
